I think I have dimpled and countersunk everything that is required in the chapter so I’m now ready to prime before assembly. Countersinking the Aft Center Section Bulkhead and Forward Centre Section Bulkhead is slightly nerve racking as these come ready built from Vans and I would imagine they cost a significant amount.
The bearing brackets also have the potential to go wrong as the instructions are not overly clear as to which holes should be countersunk. It says to countersink the #30 and #40 holes and you would think that you countersink all of them – no! The images are much clearer and I managed to stop just in time.
