Still on Section 26 – priming mountain

Not a great deal of progress to report due to that annoying nuisance of work but also the huge priming hurdle that needs to be jumped to get to the construction stage. Everything in Section 26 is deburred and as of today, dimpled and countersunk where necessary.

The priming mental block is due to the lack of space in the workshop and I can’t bear the thought of more Smoke Grey dust on everything. So, I am going to try an outside spray bay for the summer in the form of a gazebo. The EkoPrime needs about 20 degrees to set properly but I reckon I can get it up to temperature by straddling the entrance of the gazebo over the rear door of the workshop. Having a place that doesn’t require setting up each time has to be better than now. My productivity will be the true indicator of whether it works. This kit would be a great deal of fun if you didn’t have to spray primer – no pain, no gain.
