Aft fuselage – not quite

Had to climb back in to set the rivets that hold the forward bulkhead to upper skin rib. Managed to do these with the squeezer as I couldn’t face using the gun inside an amplified aluminium canoe.

Final task was to loosely screw on the access panel at the rear end of the fuselage. I decided not to dimple these as I was concerned that they would warp and not make a tight fit when screwed on. I think it was a good decision and the 16 screw heads won’t add a great deal to the drag!

Now waiting for my ceiling hoist to arrive. I’m going to attempt to lift the aft fuselage out of the way as it won’t go through the internal house doors. Should be entertaining…
