Was lucky to be invited to the Carrickmore Fly-in by a friend of mine who is an RV-6 owner. Tricky runway to land on being only 5m wide with a decent crosswind. I don’t think I will be rushing over there with a 14 taildragger! Here’s the highlights, a beautiful day for flying over Scotland into Northern Ireland:
Of course, I should have been priming all the parts I have deburred. Needed some inspiration which I have now got. Ian’s RV is a lovely machine to fly and is smooth and fast. I hope my 14 is just a bigger version.

Great little video Chris … brill weather. I remember sliding back my Harrier canopy after flying in vis like that in Scotland and breathing in the most fresh air in the world!
