I managed to do a couple with the pillar drill but the Forward Centre Section bulkhead with the cover ribs is impossible to get under my cheap pillar drill so I clamped it to the bench and very slowly reamed the holes. By lubing the reamer and inserting it into the hole and then using the drill very slowly, only a minimal amount of material was removed. Apparently Vans ream the holes so there should be very little material removed. I also stopped the reamer once it was through and then pulled it from the hole to prevent side pressure taking more material as it came out.<\/p>\n
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vansrv14.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/img_2121.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-636\" height=\"2448\" width=\"3264\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.vansrv14.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/img_2121.jpg 3264w, http:\/\/www.vansrv14.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/img_2121-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.vansrv14.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/img_2121-768x576.jpg 768w, http:\/\/www.vansrv14.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/img_2121-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 3264px) 100vw, 3264px\" \/><\/p>\n
Section 26 complete!
