A fantastic day out in a friend’s RV6 to the Sollas fly-in on North Uist. There can’t be many places where you can do this and it was totally awesome. The sand was smooth, solid and dry. They arrange the fly-in around the neap tide so that even at high water, the runway remains dry. First 3 of 4 aircraft to arrive were RVs.
